A Krystal, Delivered with a Smile

I’m no fast-food fan but I have to tell you about a Krystal restaurant.

There is a Krystal that has employees who are glad to see me and happy to take my order. Sounds like a lie, but it’s true. I go there just to experience the experience. Here’s what happens. After placing my order, an employee hands me a number and says he or she will bring the food to me when it’s ready. I stand off to the side and watch other people place their orders. They get the same greeting.

When my order is ready, the employee walks AROUND THE COUNTER and hands the bag of Krystal burgers to me. And smiles.

Again, I’m no fast-food fan. But I go out of my way to eat at this Krystal. I spend money at a place because the people there help me have a better day.

This stuff is so easy, but we very often don't get it.
